Roofing CRM
The CRM is where the handoff lives. Not where the sale is won.
An appointment that clears the Standard is written to the contractor's CRM with a fixed set of fields. The handoff is the point at which a released record becomes the sales team's responsibility.
Where the CRM sits
Internal QA release owns the CRM handoff.
Once internal QA clears the completed record, the appointment is written to the contractor's CRM and calendar. Any status updates that come back after arrival are captured on the same record. The full workflow has its own canonical page.
Operational evidence
A week of released records moving through the handoff queue.
This is the internal view Ops watches. Every record is counted at the stage it currently occupies, with the service-level target beside it where one applies.

Handoff fields
The fields written to the CRM record at release.
Every released record carries the same fields, in the same shape, into the CRM. The contractor's team never has to guess what a record contains.
- Reference ID
- PreBooked ID written to the record and the calendar event
- Homeowner
- First name, last initial, and confirmed property address
- Window
- Start and end time in the contractor's local time zone
- Reason for quote
- Homeowner's own words, captured on the qualification call
- Territory
- ZIP code, matched to the approved territory file
- Call notes
- Structured booking-call notes attached before release
Format over brand
The handoff format matters more than the CRM brand.
Contractors run different CRMs for good reasons: how their production team is set up, how their books close, how their reps like to work. The point of the handoff is not the CRM. The point is that every record arrives in the same shape, at the same stage, with the same fields, regardless of which CRM is on the other side.
When the format is stable, sales managers coach against the record instead of fighting it. The CRM stays whatever tool the contractor already trusts.
